This is the favorite rusk biscuit snack that we love to eat at the time of tea. It has a delicious bite when we dip this crispy rusk in the tea.

In the usa there are also Indian bakeries that are selling the same rusks which I have told you and the way which I am telling that how to bake it’s the same, similar way of rusk biscuits.

After baking your rusk mixture you take it out from the oven it's soo soft like cake and now the time to cool down 10-15 minutes and you need to again put them in the oven. They will bake until lightly brown and crunchy at low temperatures looks like this.

This recipe has simple and has only basic rusk ingredients and once you make it at home, you will never ever buy it from the bakery because the taste of this is so yummy and wonderful.

First of all, this is totally different from the dry cake rusk as I mentioned this cake rusk Pakistan if you don’t know you must need to know about it.

This rusk biscuit is just made by flour the other method that is made by semolina its has same ingredients but we use semolina instead of flour in india or pakistan its known by suji rusk that is made in the Asian countries.

Before see the direction you must want to see the ingredients.

1) Now take a bowl as shown in the image and add salt, powdered sugar, dry yeast, and lukewarm water slowly mix it with a spoon and cover it now rest aside for 10 minutes.

2) Take a big bowl and add flour and milk powder into the strainer and gently tap the strain repeatedly till all the flour has come out from the strainer.

After strain the flour and milk powder, add the dry yeast mixture and gently mix it.

Then add some lukewarm water which helps the dough to settled properly and cover it and rest aside for 2 hours.

After two hours later the dough will be double in the bowl and add cardamom powder and mix it with your hands.Place the dough to the clean place.

Now knead the dough with simply gentle with oil for making the rusk better.It will not be sticky when you use oil for kneading.After kneading it divides it into two portions.

Make a dough roll and shape it like a bun. Put it on a greased pan and cover it for 1 hour that it becomes again double.

Bake it in preheated oven to 180c for 10 minutes. After baking it, give grease to the upper side of the bun and rest it for 20 minutes.

Cut into the slice.

And place it on the oven of preheating 180 c for 10 minutes and if your slice becomes brown and hard flip it as shown.

Lots of love from you so, first of all, I want to tell you some about rusk biscuits.

What ingredients are Rusk biscuits are made of? Simple it’s made of all-purpose flour, oil, sugar, yeast, water, salt, and any milk it is served with tea.

What about is the difference between Rusk biscuit and toast? Basically, toast is toasted bread it's dry, light brown in a toaster or oven. Another rusk is a homemade flour bread mixture that we baked in the oven and then cut into pieces for lightly brown in the oven.

What is the Indian rusk is made of? Basically, it’s a bread mixture that is double-baked to make it crispy. We use ingredients like powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and Milk in the rusk dough to make it rich in flavor that is eaten with tea by dipping into it.

How do you eat the rusks? The correct method to eat the rusk biscuit is to dip it into tea or coffee. You want to know that if you dip longer in a cup of tea it will become soggy and break into the tea.

However, How do enjoy rusks? Enjoy the rusks biscuits with a cup of tea or coffee. Some enjoy as crackers and some of enjoy with milk as cereals. As your choice, you can any wheat rucks or milk rusks made with milk.

Rusk Ingredients:

 Salt 1/4 tsp

Powdered sugar 2 tbsp

1 tsp dry yeast

3 tbsp lukewarm water

1 Cup All-purpose flour

2 tbsp Milk powder

1/2 cup water

Butter 2 tbsp

oil 2 tbsp

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Directions on how to make rusk biscuits:

Take a mixing medium bowl and add salt, powdered sugar, dry yeast, and lukewarm water cover and put aside for 10 minutes.

Then take another empty bowl to add all-purpose flour and milk powder after squeezing it.

Then add yeast mixture to the flour and add gradually lukewarm water after mixing the dough cover it for 2 hours.

The dough becomes double after 2 hours. Add cardamom powder in the dough for rich flavor and fragrance and mix it.

Now pour oil into the dough and mix it in a bowl. Take out the dough and knead well for 5 to 6 minutes while putting oil on hand it will not stick if you pour oil on your hand.

Now divide the dough into 2 portions equally. Flatten the 1 portion of the dough and make the roll of it as bun shape and thickness about ½ inch and do the same as the other 2 portions.

Now give a final touch all over with your hands.

Now place it into the greased baking tin pan and cover it and put it aside for 1 hour.

Now preheat the oven to 180 c degree for about 10 minutes.

Bake in the oven only for 10 to 15 minutes. When your bun is baked give grease on the upper side with oil and cover it for 10 minutes.

Again bake it in the oven into 180c degree bake it for 10 minutes or bake it while it becomes little brown and hard now flip it and bake the other side for 10 minutes.

Now cool it and it becomes crisp and hard serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
